Home / Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. Do broadcasts allow the client an option of receiving the message
or of declining it?
- A. Our broadcasts can be designed to request the recipient's authorization
to deliver a message providing a respectful and non-intrusive environment
in which to communicate. Ventriloquist respectfully "speaks" to
your audience, improving your delivery rate and therefore the lift you
can expect from your campaign. However, a non-permission based approach
may be more appropriate for some clients or some particular applications.

- Q. Do you maintain 'do-not-contact lists' and remove duplicate numbers?
- A. Yes, we maintain client specific do-not-call lists. The Ventriloquist
platform also removes all duplicate and incomplete numbers from all
lists.

- Q. How do you ensure that our lists remain confidential and are only
used by our company?
- A. Our clients are always given a choice of deleting the list once the
broadcast has been sent out, or of keeping the list in our records for
future broadcasts. Ventriloquist guarantees that all lists remain confidential
and no other party will ever have access to a list supplied by any one
of our clients.

- Q. What are your hours of operation?
- A. Broadcasts are transmitted as per the times allowed by industry regulators
(CRTC in Canada and FCC in US). Within these parameters, our facilities
are available for operation 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

- Q. How do we receive feedback on the results of each broadcast?
- A. Reports are normally emailed to our clients once the broadcast has
been completed. Clients receive a detailed report breaking down the
broadcast and a results page showing the outcome of every call. Our
detailed reports give percentages of completed calls and allow our clients
to track how successful each broadcast was.
