VVSII Privacy Policy

Ventriloquist Voice Solutions International Inc. believes that the privacy of our clients’ information is of utmost importance. VVSII maintains the highest standards with respect to privacy, security and integrity of our customer Information.

For the purpose of this policy: “Information” means the proprietary and confidential information which may include customer lists and other data relating to the Customer.

Our policy to ensure this privacy is a follows:

1. All Information supplied by a customer of VVSII is stored and used exclusively for the specific broadcast requested by the customer concerned. The Information which has been or will be disclosed to VVSII in connection with the provisions of services shall remain the exclusive property of the Customer, and all rights to the Information shall be held in trust by VVSII for the benefit of the Customer.

When conducting a broadcast on behalf of a US customer who has supplied Information to VVSII, it is implicitly agreed by all parties that the customer has an established business relationship with every individual recipient on their broadcast list and that no recipient has withheld permission to be reached at the number made available to VVSII. This ensures compliance with current US regulations.

Customer-specific do-not-call lists are maintained and used to check against new transmissions on behalf of that specific customer only.

All these lists are password protected and accessible exclusively by qualified VVSII staff. VVSII shall disclose the Information only to those of its employees or agents who have a “need-to-know” the Information for the purposes of conducting the customer’s business. Such employees or agents shall be informed of the confidential nature of such Information and be directed to treat it as confidential.

The Information shall not be mechanically copied, altered or otherwise reproduced by VVSII without the expressed written consent of the customer, except for such copies as VVSII may in its discretion require to provide the Services.

2. VVSII has a strict policy of never selling or making available for any purpose whatever any customer list to any third party without the express written agreement of the customer concerned.

3. VVSII maintains in wave file format broadcasts made on behalf of its customers. VVSII may use these broadcasts for demonstration purposes on occasion, but only with the express prior approval of the customer concerned.

4. VVSII may on occasion use the names of its current clients as references for its own promotional purposes. Any client of VVSII not willing to have their name used in this regard should notify VVSII staff to that effect.

The use of the word ‘customer’ in the above Privacy Policy is to include any individual, for-profit or non-profit organization, corporation, charity, or political institution which requests the voice broadcast services of Ventriloquist Voice Solutions International Inc., whether paying for such services or not.
